Sempai Jeff
Allen began his Martial Arts training in 1992 at the age of 8
years old in League City, Texas. He joined the American
Society of Karate (A.S.K.) organization under chief instructor
Bill Grey.
For the next 5
years he trained as a junior in the junior's class and at the
age of 13, completed his junior training as a 2nd degree Red
Belt. He then moved on to the adult's class, and because of
other circumstances, training came to a halt shortly after
obtaining his yellow belt. He continued to practice at home
and in 1999, moved with his family to Merced, California.
In June 1999,
he joined the S.K.I. Karate Dojo under Sensei Amilton Barboza
and quickly began to learn the way of Shotokan. After 3 years
of training, Jeff obtained his 1st Degree Black Belt in 2002.
Now a 2nd
