Amilton
Barboza has been a dedicated Martial Arts instructor for many
years. As an instructor is use to honoring his most
outstanding students and recognizing those who work hard to
learn the skills of Martial Arts. But the tables have turned
for Amilton. Amilton was recognized by the U.S.A. Martial Arts
"Hall of Fame" in Los Angeles, Ca. on August 7th, 2004 and was
officially inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
The U.S.A. Martial Arts "Hall
of Fame" is bombarded every year with nominations of Martial
Arts instructors who dedicate their time and effort to the
sport. Every year the Martial Arts "Hall of Fame" along with
the State, Regional, National level Governing Body of
Representatives & Directors proudly choose Martial Artists of
all styles of Karate and honor them with various awards.

Amilton is very proud of his
award and plans on displaying it at his Karate Dojo (school)
located at 541 West Main St. in Merced.
Amilton looks forward to
continue instructing his students and teaching them what he
has learned through the years.
Amilton offers classes at
his Karate Dojo and also offers a free Women's Self Defense
class every Saturday from 11am to 12pm.
